Fishing!!

It  was an Amy, Mia and Dad fishing day!

Chris caught two - one pickerel and one large perch. We only got a picture of the perch.

I caught one...(Chris took it off the hook for me (thanks baby!)

Mia got sleepy and took a nap....(she had a sleepover last night)

Then on the way back, I got sleepy and took a rest....

Ah! Summer is here!

Easter/Levi's Party at the Princes'

We got Easter buckets from Grammie, with parachutes, bean bags, bubbles, jump ropes, and edible easter grass.

We had a great day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, there was no snow in sight and it was in the mid-70's. We spent most of the day on the porch.
The kids had an easter egg hunt....Lining up...

Cady: We had salmon last night for dinner. It was SOOOOO good! I just love salmon. My mom is the best cook in the world!

Nathan: Oh yeah? We had chicken hot dogs and tater tots, and that is like finding the ace in the deck!

Cady: Oh. Tater tots? I really like tater tots.

Cut to Amy and Chris glancing at each other, laughing silently.

As I see it...

The bathroom. Amelia is starting to go through puberty and her face is getting really oily and unfortunately, zits are starting to rear their ugly heads. Chris has just sat her down and explained the science of a pimple, how the pore get clogged and 'angry'. Amelia is washing her face and Nathan is watching her.
Amelia: "Ow! Ow! It stings!
Nathan: " That's because you are killing all of the spores"

Cut to Amy and Chris covering their mouths and laughing hysterically. Hope you did too!

Christmas concert

The kids looked great and sang even better. Our two were dressed as stockings and Cady was a Snowflake princess. Please excuse the bad pictures...the lighting in the gym was playing havoc with my camera.
